What is a Foundation in Arts?
The Foundation in Arts is a prerequisite for students who want to pursue a degree within the fields of arts, humanities, business, law, social sciences, and information technology. As a pre-university programme, you can usually take it after secondary school/high school. You will gain the knowledge to be able to think independently and creatively, communicate your knowledge effectively with others, and boost your proficiency in the English language.
Why Study a Foundation in Arts?
A solid foundation programme gives you an advantage over others who are entering higher education directly after high school. Using tertiary-style teaching with plenty of lectures, tutorials, and seminar-type classes, students are able to kick-start their undergraduate endeavours on a firm platform. With IUMW, you will find yourself academically ready and personally confident enough to succeed at your chosen undergraduate course.
